The major change in CL 11.15 is the migration to GNOME 3 and to GNOME-Shell, while the desktop interface of Calculate Linux remains visually the same (see Fig. 1); you will still be able to manage domain hosts under Calculate Directory Server. For a more optimized user environment, out team have developed a set of new extensions. To switch between windows, hit Alt+Tab (nothing new here). The launch panel is at the bottom of the screen, as is the tradition with CL.

In the default configuration, the top panel features the Applications menu, the desktop switcher, the taskbar, the trash bin, the system tray, the Lock button and the Exit button (see Fig. 2). System notifications were moved to the top right of the screen, below the system tray (see Fig. 3). Activities are disabled by default.

For users who appreciate GNOME 3, we provide the possibility to disable extensions, so that GNOME 3 reverts back to its classic behaviour.

Are these LiveDVDs?

Yes, it’s a hybrid livecd image, it can also be written to a USB flash drive.

Хороший релиз, спасибо. Очень меню понравилось. Думаю еще пару дополнений засунуть к шеллу и будет даже лучше гнома2. Но и то не во всем. Хотя проект гном развивается, а потом еще лучше будет
