Allowing CLD to open Internal sites

Hi ,i have been able to join my CLD through CDS, I have a problem :
In order for my CLD to open local sites from windows domain i have added a entry in /etc/resolv.conf as search vccorp.com, but after rebooting the entry is gone, I have also tried doing GUI settings through WICD , it shows there after rebooting but not in /etc/resolv.conf,every time i have to add search vccorp.com in resolv.conf to access local sites+shared folders.Is there a way by which my CLD should remember the line search vccorp.com in /et/resolv.conf even after rebooting

Note that it is written in /etc/resolv.conf:

 # /etc/resolv.conf.head can replace this line
...
 # /etc/resolv.conf.tail can replace this line

put changes in /etc/resolv.conf.head or /etc/resolv.conf.tail
