cl-update or eix-sync/emerge?

There is this post on the latest release:
http://www.calculate-linux.org/blogs/en/498/show
It hinted me to cl-update
Tried it and it works fine

this post then links to the guide at http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/system_update_guide
There is no mention on cl-update there but points to eix-sync and emerge

What is the recommended way to update the system? CSS profile with only remote console, no desktop gui.
go with the blog post or the guide?

Actual documentation is still in the process of writing. This documentation page has not been translated from Russian into English.

Is there a page in russian available? I could try google translate

http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/ru/system_update_guide

Thanks
Google translate does a pretty good job with Russian to English on that page. If someone working on the English pages has a minute to spare I recommend putting googles translation on the English page as it is until someone gets the time to have a closer look.

Sorry for the inconvenience Andreas. The person working on the English translation is me, but I had little time to spare lately, while there are many new docs to translate and post… Will do this as promptly as I can.

Meanwhile, check the manuals for cl-update and cl-update-profile:
http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/cl-update and
http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/cl-update-profile respectively.

Thank you.
