Linux install stuck on white screen.

I made a bootable Linux-Calculate USB. When I start it it takes me to the option screen where I choose to run the live CD. Then I see the black with orange lettering “Linux-Calculate” splash screen, after that the screen goes white and gets stuck there.
I had a Devuan distro installed on the disk I’m using. Do I have to delete it first to install Calculate?

Hi,
If the live CD don’t boot, you have a problem.
What is your graphic card and hardware ?
You will have a lot of updates because Calculate 18 is coming.
You can use “nightly” builds, it’s ISO generated last days ago (and so less updates after installed)

Okay I’ll try the nightly build. I have an ATI Radeon 6850. Where do I find the nightly builds?

Okay.
If it doesn’t work, you can try to select the proper video driver at boot, instead of “auto”

Only your free radeon drivers are for your graphics card
