On a fresh install of cldx 15.12 I get “Firefox is already running” when I attempt to open it. Even if I reboot, the same thing occurs. I removed it and reinstalled it but the problem persists.
It seems to be related to the fact that I transferred the contents of my Thunderbird profile from an other GNU/Linux distro instead of configuring each of my 20 something email accounts one by one (which I have done many time before with no negative results).
A newer version is available from Mozilla (38.5.1) than the one installed (38.5.0 -which is the most recent shown using eix), but I am not sure how to install it or (for that matter) whether that would correct this problem.
