Hello.
I ran into the problem with sound, it doesn’t related to hardware so I post here.
Sometimes after logging into a KDE session sound just disappears. Mplayer says something like this:
[AO OSS] audio_setup: Can’t open audio device /dev/dsp: No such file or directory
[AO_ALSA] alsa-lib: pcm_dmix.c:1022:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
[AO_ALSA] Playback open error: Device or resource busy
Then I go to terminal and kill xdm sound reappers. MPD starts to work again. Any ideas that should I do? Thanks.
